Next Sunday, November 24th, a sustainability initiative will take place in the city. Its goal is to mobilize the community and generate a positive impact on our natural environment. The main objective will be to clean up the Dique del Fuerte Lake area in Tandil.

The event will not only be an opportunity to clean and protect one of Tandil's most iconic landmarks, but also to educate the community about responsible environmental practices.

The organizations involved in the initiative are Mirador Tandil, Grupo Rocas, Marcas que Marcan, and 3C Construcción, with the endorsement of the Municipality of Tandil and the support of the Tandil Impact Roundtable.

The organization emphasized that "there are an increasing number of companies, projects, NGOs, and public and private initiatives in our city that seek to demonstrate that actions can be taken that put the planet and people first."

Given the constant growth of sustainability-aligned initiatives, T+ was created. This event will focus on awareness and waste collection at the Tandil Dam. It will also feature various activities, including workshops, talks, spaces designed for children, and a fair to meet companies with social and/or environmental impact from Tandil and other neighboring towns. The event will conclude with the participation of bands at the Tandil Lookout.

The date chosen is due to the "People and Planet First Week" that takes place from November 18th to 21st . During this week, various leading organizations in empowering Social and Impact Enterprises around the world will be holding events, workshops, and talks to raise awareness about alternative ways of doing business and guide collective action. The goal is for Tandil to be present at this international dialogue, which demonstrates that it is possible to do things differently, and to highlight the examples of Positive Impact in our city.

Currently, you can participate as a sponsor of the initiative, a volunteer who will accompany you to guide the event, an exhibiting impact entrepreneur, or a participant in the collection.
