EKHOS chose to connect Latin America with more developed social enterprise ecosystems, such as India. The goal is to build bridges between different countries and exchange knowledge, methodologies, and tools. India's social enterprise ecosystem is highly advanced. There are more than 2 million formal social enterprises. There are multiple social enterprise models for each of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The keys that make India's ecosystem so robust are the following: Extensive track record in social innovation.

Partnerships between diverse ecosystem actors working together for mutual empowerment. Collaboratively designed public policy aimed at facilitating the emergence and development of social enterprises. Social entrepreneurs who combine a strong sense of purpose with the ability to design concrete solutions and implement them. Diverse teams that contribute complementary knowledge and skills. Solutions tailored to the specific local culture.
